The champion of Bongo Flava music in Tanzania since then has been successful in releasing smash and trending hits such as Tetema, Inama, Marry You, Jeje, and most recently Waah. Music is his main source of income. He started singing in 2007 but became popular in 2010. His music has been doing well in East Africa and Africa in general. He has been leading music charts and playlists such as Tanzania Top 100, Botswana iTunes Top Songs, Boomplay Chart’s Top 100 Cameroon, and Top 100 Rwanda.
Like few big name musicians, he has performed his music on stages in many countries around the world. For example, he has performed on stage in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa, Canada, America, and Europe. Some of his music tours that he had scheduled for 2020 were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Over the years, Diamond Platinumz has been working with fellow musicians from different parts of the world and producing some of the best songs. For example, the song Inama featuring Fally Ipupa and Waah featuring Koffi Olomide. The two collaborations were very successful in terms of YouTube reception, downloads, and radio airplay.
Usually, he charge a lot of money to perform a show. According to a screenshot recently shared on social media, the artist charged between $100 (for regular ) and $1000 (VIP patrons) for an event in South Sudan.

WCB Wasafi
He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wasafi Classic Baby. This is a full-service recording studio and management, music, publishing, and entertainment company. Since its inception, the record label has signed several Tanzanian star artists. Some of them are Mbosso, Lava Lava, Zuchu, Queen Darleen, and Rayvanny. The company also owns a radio station and a television station which are Wasafi FM and Wasafi TV.
Perfume brand
In 2017, he launched a perfume called Chibu Perfume. It took years for the legend to create a perfume that he believed his fans deserved. Currently, the perfume is available in many stores across Africa and other continents. He joins the list of celebrities who have created perfumes with names like Rihanna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Antonio Banderas. Apart from that, he has a barber shop and a fashion clothing store.

The Tanzanian artist has many fans on social networks. He has been using his influence to earn extra income by working with famous corporate brands. For example, he has been a Pepsi ambassador since 2019. Diamond Platnumz houses
Diamond, owns expensive houses in Tanzania and other parts of the continent. One of his houses in Tanzania allegedly cost him KSh. 70 million. The house is reported to have parts covered in gold. He also owns houses in Kenya, South Africa, and Rwanda. News of Diamond Platnumz’s house in Kenya surfaced on the internet in 2017. There was speculation that he wanted to move to Kenya after buying a house in Nairobi. Also, he bought Tanasha Donna, who was his fiancee, another house in Kenya.
The bongo star has three houses in South Africa. He once showed his house on Instagram. Before they broke up with Zari, they used to live in that house. The actual cost of Diamond Platnumz’s house in South Africa is unknown, but it is definitely expensive. There were rumors earlier that the star had bought another house in Rwanda. The rumor started in 2018. This was after Diamond Platinumz asked his fans through social networks, to help him find a good property in the country.
